My father introduced me to a camera when I was a kid. I loved taking pictures. Dad knew a lot about photography. He was a college professor so knew a lot about a lot, and loved photography enough to write a college text book about it. Dad helped me understand how the camera worked, how photography worked, and the importance of good composition.
While photography always remained a hobby, a business career was the life path I eventually chose. Corporate paid well, and I had great experiences for a long time. As my bosses faces got younger and younger I knew the clock on my corporate career was running out. So I got serious about photography again.
Photography has always been with me even as multiple careers have fallen behind in my life's exhaust. Now I couldn't be happier pursuing my passion. After a lot of positive feedback, and a desire for extra income, I started ForeverHome Photography.
Another passion of mine is rescues. Having been involved with a dachshund rescue for a while now, Southern California Dachshund Relief (SCDR), I wanted to use photography to help support rescues. Funds are always needed to help rescues survive in what can be a very cruel world. That's why 5% of all ForeverHome Photography sales are donated to a rescue.
I live and work in Southern California with my wife and three dachshunds. My wife and I travel once in a while so my other photo work originates from wherever we happen to be. Hope to meet you soon!
